This document describes the SAML API.
ComponentSpace SAML for ASP.NET Developer Guide

Hi, I am trying to implement SSO from a website to another portal(Service Provider). Assuming that user is already authenticated(user logs in with credentials and click on a button to go to service provider's portal), which method should i use to generate SAML and send the request to Service Provider?

What you describe is called IdP-initiated SSO.
You should call SAMLIdentityProvider.InitiateSSO to create and send a SAML response to the SP.
Please refer to our Developer Guide for more information.
The Example Guide walks you through the ExampleIdentityProvider project which demonstrates calling this API.
