You are licensing the right to use the ComponentSpace Software in production. Pricing is based on Product Deployments and SAML Partner Connections or OpenID Client Connections, and includes regular product updates and developer support for the duration of the subscription.

Usage is measured by:
  • Product Deployments — applications running in production
  • SAML Partner Connections or OpenID Client Connections
The licensing model is intentionally simple and easy to measure, so customers can clearly understand their usage and remain compliant without needing to track developers, users, infrastructure size, or other indirect metrics.

This model is designed to be predictable and easy to understand. Developers, users, and infrastructure often scale independently of actual product usage. Measuring deployments and connections aligns directly with how the Software is used.

A Product Deployment is a single application that uses the Software and is deployed to a single production environment, whether on-premises or in the cloud.

Running the same application on multiple servers or containers in the same environment for load balancing, redundancy, or autoscaling counts as one deployment. Deployments in separate production environments are counted separately.

No. Development, testing and staging deployments are free and do not count toward your licensed Product Deployments.

A SAML Partner Connection is a configured connection to a single SAML identity provider or service provider. Connections are shared across all Product Deployments.

An OpenID Client Connection is a configured connection to a single OpenID Connect client. These connections are shared across all Product Deployments.

Yes, provided you remain within your licensed number of Product Deployments. Each application deployed to a production environment counts as a separate Product Deployment.

To increase the number of Product Deployments, you must upgrade to the next tier.

Additional SAML Partner or OpenID Client Connections may be purchased for US $299 / year each. These are billed once, prorated to the subscription’s remaining term, and expire with the subscription.

You will need to purchase additional connections or upgrade to the next tier to remain compliant with the license.

No. There is no limit on the number of developers who may work with the Software.

The Software is offered as an annual subscription to provide access to ongoing updates, improvements, and support. This model ensures timely enhancements and security updates, helping you maintain a secure and compliant implementation over time.

When you purchase a license, you receive a license key, access to product updates, and developer support based on your selected tier. If your license includes source code access, this is also provided.

Redistribution is not permitted under standard licenses. If you require redistribution rights, a separate redistribution license is available. Please contact us to discuss your use case.

Licenses are billed annually. You will be notified prior to renewal, and renewal is required to continue using the Software in production and to receive updates and support.
